In recognition of his accomplishments, Mr. Hebel has been invited to lecture at the University of Louisville, the University of Kentucky, the Kentucky Real Estate Commission and the Louisville Board of Realtors.
A native of Louisville, Mr. Hebel attended the University of Louisville School of Law and graduated Cum Laude in 1955. He is a member of the Louisville and Kentucky Bar Associations and serves on numerous community boards. Mr. Hebel currently serves Of Counsel to the firm.

Originally from Paducah, Kentucky, Katherine H. Zoppoth (Kitty) holds a Bachelor of
Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia, and received her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas. She is licensed to practice in Kentucky and Texas.
Richard V. Hornung

Mr. Hornung has been instrumental in positioning Hebel & Hornung, P.S.C. to compete with large regional law firms in the area of its real estate practice, while at the same time offering a “small firm sensitivity” to clients’ needs unmatched in the Louisville area. Mr. Hornung continues to emphasize that efficient, personal and prompt service is

In addition, Mr. Hornung has spearheaded the firm’s civil litigation practice for the past twenty seven years, while at the same time expanding the firm’s excellent reputation in the areas of residential and commercial real estate transactions, condominium and community associations, and corporate and business organizations.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Mr. Hornung graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law in and is admitted to practice in Kentucky and Missouri. He is a member of the Louisville and Kentucky Bar Associations and is licensed in the Western and Eastern Districts of Kentucky for federal practice. He is also an affiliate member and approved mediator for the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors. Mr. Hornung is currently the President of the Kentucky Chapter of the Community Association Institute.
William A. Merrifield

William (Billy) Merrifield focuses his practice in the areas of civil litigation, community associations, real estate transactions and probate and estate planning.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Merrifield holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bellarmine University, and received his Juris Doctorate from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 2007. He is licensed to practice in Kentucky and Indiana and is a member of the Indiana and Kentucky Bar Associations.
